Privacy policy
Throwback is a music party game. It has no accounts, no ads, no analytics and no tracking. We don’t collect, store or sell any personal information.
What stays on your device
Player and team names, your game settings and any game in progress are saved only on your phone so you can pick up where you left off. They are never sent to us. Deleting the app deletes them.
Song previews
To play a song clip, the app looks the song up in Apple’s public music catalogue (the iTunes Search service) and streams Apple’s 30-second preview. Each request contains the song title and artist, and, like any internet request, Apple receives your device’s IP address. Apple handles this under the Apple Privacy Policy. Album artwork is loaded from Apple the same way.
Links to other apps
“Open in Apple Music” and “Play on Spotify” open those services outside Throwback. What happens there is covered by their own privacy policies.
Children
Throwback doesn’t knowingly collect information from anyone, including children under 13.
